Morning Dew

There’s nothing more I enjoy in the summer months than a walk through the meadows early in the morning when the dew is on the grass, it means there is a chance to see roosting insects waiting for the sun to dry them out before they fly off.

We haven’t had too many of these mornings so far, but early in June it was a ‘sparkly’ morning so I headed down the lane towards the river with Tilly. Of course with it being so wet and the grass so tall both Tilly and I  got very wet but it’s worth it!

A few flies and bee still roosting but not covered in water as I’d hoped but interesting nonetheless.
