On the 19th May we took a trip down to Arne, the weather was fair so we enjoyed a good walk around the RSPB reserve. The Sika deer were about and the Stags are just beginning to grow their antlers, it looks like they have a pair of rubber gloves on their heads at the moment!

The Dragonflies are just starting to appear over the Shipstal ponds and we were lucky enough to see a Water Vole busy in the pond. One of my favourites.

As we were going back to the car park we met the resident cat, he seems quite at home at Arne and is tolerated round the Visitor centre.

The new cafe has opened so we had to try it out, very nice trouble is it will tempt us every time we go to Arne!
