Wednesday 13th November

Sunrise 07.21 Sunset 16.24 GMT

A hard frost, the first real frost of the season, plenty of car windscreen scraping early this morning.

I had see the forecast the night before and there was talk of mist. So at 6.30 this morning Kim and myself headed up towards New Cross. I was hoping to get above the mist and get a nice sunrise. As always things didn’t go to plan I just about got above it but the mist was swirling about and hiding Hambledon Hill most of the time.

On the way up we encountered two sets of Roe deer. Three to the right and three to the left, they were just on the horizon. I had Kim on the lead just in case! It was a lovely morning and I for one enjoyed the walk.

I went out with Lucy later and she met one of her friends.
