We had a Studio night at Blandford Camera Club at the end of November with Pete Whieldon photography who brought along a menagerie of Raptors, Frogs and mice for us to photograph. Not quite nature watching but it was great to see these animals at close hand and learn a little more about them. Our clubhouse was very packed and very busy but we managed and the animals were very good and seemed at home with all the attention.
Pete and his gang set of Flash for each section I took some with Flash but soon found it easier to use a high ISO to get the images as the stations were so busy! I did get some mice pictures and a Frog but what I really wanted were the Owls and Kestrel he bought a long.
A great evening and a few images of these amazing birds.
