Overnight into Friday 3rd March the snow kept coming but then it turned to freezing rain which coated everything with a thick layer of ice, it looked like the bedroom windows were frosted! I stepped out of the door and it was lethal to step on and soon realised I wasn’t going to go very far, Tilly was not impressed either.
No one could move their cars in our road so I stayed put for the Saturday except for a couple of short walks with Tilly, by the afternoon the snow was disappearing quickly and by Sunday morning we were able to have a longer walk. I decided to head for the Stone Circle as I would be able to see across the Blackmore Vale and towards Shaftesbury, although when I reached there it was a little hazy.

I was hoping to get the Stone Circle with a little more snow on them but not to be. The Alpacas were just in the right place for a photograph.
