The snow gradually disappeared and it was back to ‘normal’ with the weather, a bit of sun but still wet and grey for most of the time. I still took my camera as the birds are getting more active now so I never know what I will see. On this particular morning I had quite a surprise  the grey morning was brightened up with a field of Peacocks! There were probably about ten of them altogether, I managed to find a hole in the hedge to take some pictures.

As I walked on I spotted a Jay, I’ve never had the luck to get really close to one they are very shy birds, I don’t blame them they used to be persecuted by the Gamekeepers! Then there was a Kestrel high in the trees, we have a few around the village very pretty if you can get close of course.
