My friend and I decided to try an early trip down to RSPB Arne one morning in early May, we kept an eye on the weather and hoped the morning would be fine, the weather was changing all the time this spring.
Unfortunately it turned out to be a quiet morning we were beginning to think we weren’t going to see much except for the usual Grey Squirrels. But we did see one or two Sika deer although the Stags were not looking their best as the were just growing new antlers.

The light was quite nice over the marsh from the Shipstal Hide but there wasn’t too much wildlife about just a single Curlew in the distance. The light was also nice as we walked back through the Birch Trees. It was not the most exciting of visits bet that’s the way it goes, better luck next time!
