I was busy in the garden early this morning when I got a phone call from Judy, a friend who lives up the top of our road. She said she had Blue Tit fledglings in her garden feeding on the peanuts and would I like to bring my camera up! So I was soon on my way. When I got there most of the fledgelings had disappeared but there were a couple still in the garden so I managed to get a few photos of the little birds.

There were other birds about as well, every garden should have a Robin of course!

I was also lucky to see a Sparrow fledgling on the fence and in the garden border, by the markings it looks like a Dunnock but I’m not 100% sure.

Judy has quite a flock of Sparrows in and around her garden, as we do. They are always such busy little birds. I spotted a parent feeding a House Sparrow fledgling on the fence.
I know these are everyday birds but our gardens would be the poorer without them.
