I can’t believe we are getting towards Christmas, two days away and this month and the year is nearly over. I haven’t written in my diary much this month as it is all about the rain! I know we’ve had and election but I don’t talk about that on here!!!

Below are a few images from the month of the floods we have had on the Stour which has been running high for most of this month and has flooded a few times. Today I ventured out to Hammoon hoping to get a nice sunrise from the harbour but it was not to be, the road was still flooded, I knew that I might have had to paddle through some water but it was higher than I expected. There was a car abandoned in the flood water so I went back and down to Bere Marsh where I could see the floods on higher ground.
