I’m getting out a little earlier now the clocks have changed. I was crossing the fields to Bere Marsh when I spotted the ‘Bully Boy Crows’ again. The last time they were attacking the Barn Owl  www.marilynjanephotography.co.uk/diary/wednesday-6th-august/  in August when they managed to get him to drop the Vole he had just caught. This time they were hounding the Buzzard, I’ve been seeing him most mornings in the fields at Bere Marsh. The Buzzard didn’t seem too worried and just flew over to the trees and settled in them. I managed to get a picture of them although it was quite dark still.

I’ve been seeing a number of Hawks around including the Buzzard. There has been a Kestrel about and a Sparrowhawk at the bottom of Greenway lane. Still plenty to see even though the weather has now got colder and wetter.
