When I got out of bed this morning and looked out the window I could see that the sky was clear above but there was a thick mist in our valley.I decided that it might be worth going up to Okeford Hill and trying to take some pictures. So Rod, myself and the dogs piled in the old Nissan and went up the hill and sure enough as we got higher we were above the mist. it was beautiful. I took some pictures and found the best ones were when I used my 300mm zoom lens concentrating on smaller areas rather than the Blackmore Vale as a whole. I was hoping for some rays of sun as it rose but it was not to be. The mist eventually came rolling in over the top of the hill as well as in the valley but I was pleased with the images I managed to take.
