Tuesday 9th December

Sunrise 08:00 Sunset 16:03 GMT

I’m still up well before dawn, which isn’t too difficult as I just noticed sunrise is now 8 o’clock in the morning. We have our journey’s to Poole weekdays until 15th January so it’s becoming a way of life, I’m typing this while we wait for Rod’s treatment.

Not much time to take photos, although the wildlife is still about especially the Tawny Owls. I’ve still not seen one on my walks. By the time we are on the way home up the ‘Oak tree alley’ the Blackbirds are rummaging in the leaves on the ground and the Robins are declaring their territory with song.

The weather has turned very cold and there has been a few frosty mornings and this morning the colour in the sky was spectacular, if the weather forecast is to believed we are in for gales and rain.

I took Kim for a walk yesterday afternoon it was beautiful sunshine, hoping to take some pictures. I did see a pair of Jays and then a Sparrowhawk but they were too quick for me, they were nice to see though.
