Another trip down to Poole to the hospital, we are now down to ten more visits so we can get a life back soon! Although being able to walk through Poole park on our way has made it more enjoyable, being able to watch the wildlife and taking pictures has been a bonus.

The weather was sunny once we got down to Poole so the lighting was a little tricky as we are facing across the water but I managed to get some pictures.  Most of the birds we have seen before on our daily trips but as always I like to practice my wildlife photography, still plenty to learn.

We watched a Herring Gull catch a Crab, it didn’t stand a chance and there was no way the Gull was going to let any one else have it.

I couldn’t resist taking a picture of a Feral Pigeon feeding by the lagoon the sun shining on his feathers were showing all it’s lovely colours.

Then in the bushes behind the Cafe a Robin was singing his heart out, it was very dark and I was pleased to get an acceptable picture with my camera at 4000 ISO.

We walked a little farther this moring as we were a little earlier and I managed to get some photos of the Cormorants on one of the small islands drying themselves out between fishing.
