Well what a change in the weather, it was foggy this morning once again but the difference was it was very cold. Our outside thermometer showed 4°C and I was surprised there was not a frost on the meadows near to the river, it must have been very close! The first time I could have done with a coat and gloves!!!

I had to keep the dogs close this morning as I couldn’t see very far, It’s a good job I did as two deer stood and watched us walk across the field and were still there when we came back. They seem to know how far they can push it before they move out the way. As soon as we got to the bridge they started grazing again. A kingfisher flew towards us as we crossed the bridge but did a quick turn when he spotted us.
