A bright morning turning into a very hot day again, we have been warned it is the last, colder tomorrow.

We have a resident in a garden, a hedgehog (or hopefully more than one). We watched one in the early summer from our velux window in the bedroom at about 3 o’clock in the morning. But this morning I was going to mow the lawn or the tufts that had grown on our very dry lawn when I noticed the hedgehog poo! All real naturalists seem to get carried away with this sort of thing picking it up smelling it etc. but all I did was take a picture. I’m not going to pick it up!
