Back to normal this morning after a week in Whitby, North Yorkshire, an early morning walk as usual with Kim. I noticed the difference in the trees since I was away, the trees in North Yorkshire are well behind ours. I was lucky enough to see the Barn Owl although I didn’t carry my camera on Saturday. I just enjoyed watching him quartering the fields around the Barn.

The evening of Saturday was beautiful, we are having some warm weather at last so we walked down to the footbridge on the Stour. Rod had spotted some Kingfishers while I was away and he wondered if they were nesting close by, but no sign of them. What Rod did see was an Otter swimming upstream, I missed it as I was further ahead Rod hadn’t seen one down there for sometime so he was really pleased.
