I am a little behind with writing and posting my blog. From the middle of June it seems to have been a bit hectic plus all the usual chores, the garden has been growing to jungle proportions with the rain. Now we are into July and I hope to get on track again. It doesn’t mean I haven’t been out in the mornings with Tilly and my camera, we have seen plenty to talk about so there will be a few posts coming in the next few days!

Here are a selection of insects I have taken locally, just a few hundred yards from home down Greenway Lane. I enjoy looking for them in the summer and trying to learn their names. The Butterflies are few and far between around home except for Meadow Browns they seem to be doing very well. I’m disappointed I’m not see hardly any in the garden, plenty of flowers out, but no Butterflies.
