I’m sometimes disappointed that I don’t see any Foxes on my walks early in the morning. I am always watching but no luck but one morning early in July I spotted one in a field near Hambledon Hill. He didn’t see us as we were looking over a yard, he was watching something then turned and disappeared in the hedge. A good start to the day!

Then the next evening I put my Trail camera out to see if there was Hedgehog action on the lawn. I know they are still coming to feed at the station but I’m still hoping to catch sight of some babies with mum. Anyway when I looked at it in the morning, no hedgehogs but a Fox checking round the lawn, such a surprise, we have seen them at a distance in the field behind us but never in the garden. Unfortunately we had a foggy night so bit of a murky picture.
