Somerset Levels

We had a few days away in the Camper van to the Somerset Levels towards the end of October. In hindsight we couldn’t have picked a better time as the weather deteriorated quickly into rain and has been more or less like that ever since. The Levels are not the best places to camp when it’s so wet.

We stayed for two nights both of which were very chilly with frost and mist and unfortunately I missed the dawn on the first morning as it didn’t look to promising so had a lie in …big mistake, a lesson learnt.

We spent most of our time at Ham Wall and late afternoons at Catcott before going down to our campsite at Edington. As always and enjoyable time relaxing and just seeing what comes along, on the last morning it was thick fog which didn’t lift until lunch time but I still managed to get some pictures.
