Another pleasant day now we have lost the humid heat of the past little while. It’s meant I can get out and about a bit more. My usual morning walk round Bere Marsh was still quiet with not much about. In the afternoon I took Kim for a walk to Shillingstone and back home across the fields, Melways lane and home, a chance to do a little infrared photography.

This evening I took Lucy out on her own although Kim would have liked to go again. When we walked up the big field I spotted a Fox in the field with the cows, they were happy for it to walk in and out of them rummaging for anything he could find. I spent some time watching him and then I spotted another fox, it must be the cubs that we saw some time ago and they are still together, I took a picture although I only had a small lens but at least I have a record of them. Someone came down the field and they disappeared through the hedge. Luckily Lucy didn’t see them!
