Still good weather although not very sunny, it’s certainly helping the autumn along. I’ve been busy in the garden and today I decided to take myself off with Kim for a walk on Okeford hill. It was really nice the leaves are starting to show signs of changing colour. There was a few Swallows about and a Buzzard but other than that it was quiet. We walked in a circuit around to Bonsley and back, a nice change.

Of course in the evening I had to take Lucy out on her own, she had a lovely time rummaging. A deer crossed the field but luckily she didn’t spot it she’s not as keen as she used to be. I managed to pick a few blackberries for tomorrow’s dinner, poo bags come in useful sometime for times like this!
By the time we were walking back the sun had gone and the Tawny owls were calling, there are a few about, I only hear them I would love to see one flying. There are bats about at the moment zooming about at dusk and the Hedgehog has been very active.
