The weather continues to be wonderful for this time of year, a little chilly some nights but the days are warm and mostly sunny. We had some rain yesterday in the morning, it was most welcome and then it cleared to another good day.
I decided to go up Hambledon Hill this morning with Kim and Lucy, I must get up there more often. Once you get to the top it is wonderful and the view is different every time according to the weather and time of day. I think I may have seen a Red Kite being worried by some Crows but it didn’t come too close so I couldn’t be totally sure. I will have to take my binoculars along with all my other clutter!
There were a pair of Siskins rummaging around in the bushes and some other small birds flying up from the grass which I couldn’t identify. It’s such as different landscape to the Blackmore Vale, we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep.
