Wednesday 12th November

The weather has now turned very wet, we have had rain nearly everyday and at times it has been very heavy. The river this morning was just on or over the bank of the river Stour. So it meant we didn’t have or usual walk, I managed to skirt round the field to the footbridge although it was up to the top of my boots at one point! Kim enjoyed racing through the flood water and Lucy picked her way through. We managed to get over the footbridge but we couldn’t get past the little bridge into Bere Marsh so we had to turn round and retrace our steps.

I took a few photos with my little compact camera as we went. I do hope this is not going to be the same as the winter last year, the fields are very wet and the lane very muddy already, it would be nice to see some cold frosty days.
