Another week starts and our trips to Poole continue the weather is chilly but not too bad so we still enjoy our walk around Poole Park before we go to the hospital. We saw another bird to add to our list of sightings a pair of Little Grebes were swimming about, they are quite tiny and a little nervous of people.

There are always a few Grey Squirrels about scurrying through the leaves or in the trees. The one below was eating the Ash keys.

When we got home today we couldn’t believe our eyes as we drove down the road there were a pair of Red Kites circling just above our house, we have never seen them in this area so it was really exciting. I dashed upstairs to get my camera I got a couple of pictures. They moved towards the river and we watched them for sometime before the disappeared, hopefully we will see them again soon.
