Fungi at Ringmoor

I wanted to get out and photograph some fungi before they disappeared, I had been unwell with Covid and it was the first time I had felt like going anywhere, it would be a leisurely walk under the trees using my powers of observation to spot the fungi.

I decided on NT Ringmoor near Okeford Hill under mainly Oaks and it did take a while to spot the fungi as some were very tiny around 2cm tall. I was only equipped with a Macro lens and my torch on my phone, to use when a little extra light was required, it can be quite dark under the canopy of trees.

Here are some I spotted, I was only there for a couple of hours, which soon goes. With only some of obvious ones I can name, one day perhaps I will try and identify them, with 15.000 species of fungi perhaps I can be excused!
