Our friend Judy phoned early in the morning to say she was going into Blandford and would we like to see if we could see the Otters. We had such a great time the week before we didn’t think we could be so lucky again. But as soon as we got there I didn’t have time to check the camera, the Otter mum and two kits were at the bottom of the weir, which was at a lower level than the week before. Mum decided to take the two kits up the weir which they climbed with ease.

We quickly followed them as they made their way up towards the road bridge, they were on the other side of the river but we could see them making their way until they eventually went through the arches of the bridge, by then we were standing on top of it.
They went underneath the bridge and spent some time in the reeds which gave us plenty of time to take some photos. They suddenly disappeared and we can only think there was a holt close by. Again we went home happy thinking how lucky we were once again.

These are really sweet! Lovely shots.
